Chicago is world-renowned for its diverse museums including Chicago history, art, African-American culture, astronomy, natural history, and much more. Plan on spending time at Chicago’s Museum Campus, a scenic park that joins the Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum, the Shedd Aquarium, and the Field Museum of Natural History. Chicago is also home to Navy Pier, the city’s playground and the state’s most popular attraction. Don’t miss the internationally acclaimed Millennium Park, an unprecedented center for world-class art, music, architecture, and landscape design. Some other attractions include Buckingham Fountain at Grant Park, the Hancock Observatory, and the Sears Tower Skydeck.

From June 1 through September 30, enjoy Art of Play, a citywide celebration of toys, games, and the spirit of play. The centerpiece is Niki in the Garden, an exhibition of monumental sculptures by internationally-renowned artist Niki de Saint Phalle at the Garfield Park Conservatory.

A visit to the city of Chicago would be incomplete without a shopping trip to the famed “Magnificent Mile,” which runs along Michigan Avenue. Chicago is also known for its neighborhood shopping with trend setting fashions by Chicago designers and chic boutiques.
